Portinvest Logistic resumed operations and expanded volumes in 2023

Portinvest Logistic summarized its performance for 2023. In general, freight forwarding and rail cargo transportation through seaports of Ukraine was carried out for 1.78 million tons of goods, agency services were provided for 57 vessels. The main types of goods are clay, metallurgical products, and salt.

"The resumption of operations in Chornomorsk, Pivdenny and Odesa ports became an impetus for the renewal of the marine transportation market. Despite the heavy workload of Izmail port and the transition to road transportation by Ukrainian exporters, we were able to resume cooperation with most of our clients and reach 55% of the pre-war level in freight forwarding services," said Mykola Strelnykov, CEO of Portinvest Logistic.

Since the start of 2024, we have observed an increase in the import and export load on ports. We also expect the resumption of operation of logistics routes (such as container terminals), which were forced to stop work in early 2022.

Portinvest Logistic plans to increase the volume of export transportation. To date, the terms of cooperation with the ports of Greater Odesa have already been established to ensure planned export shipments of the company's clients by large ship lots, and work has begun to provide additional transshipment yards in the port area.
